Admin and Events Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that run the British Drift Championship. We are a motorsport entertainment events company that run events across the UK. Although the job is mainly based in our offices in South Kirkby you also have the option to attend the event weekends spread out across the year.

This will be a fast paced new role suited to someone with the drive to really push themselves and able to work closely with the rest of the team.

Main Responsibilities would be -

  • Admin - data input, working on documents + spreadsheets
  • Dealing with numerous emails + messages
  • Events - assist with driver sign on, paperwork, organisation
  • Social media - assisting with all our social media platforms
  • Event planning + paperwork
  • General PA work

Skills ideally required -

  • Excellent secretarial skills, including typing skills and knowledge of IT systems
  • Excellent time-management skills including the ability to prioritise work and manage conflicting deadlines.
  • The ability to take responsibility for an area of work, be self-reliant and calm under pressure.
  • Polite and well presented
  • Social media experience
  • Website knowledge would be advantageous
  • Forward thinking
  • A friendly, helpful and approachable manner.
  • Good judgement about when to use initiative and when to consult.

Initially this is a part time role with flexible working hours but could quite easily progress to a full time roll. We also have the option of making this a full time roll from the start for the right candidate by adding similar job roles from our sister company Slide Motorsport based at the same premises.

Rates of pay dependant on experience.
