Responsibilities

  • Develop new software written primarily in C and C++
  • Integrate silicon provider codecs into QNX frameworks (ADAS, multimedia)
  • Integrate into other key technologies (Cameras, Radar, Android, Linux, Autosar, 3rd party algorithms and applications, etc).
  • Once SW is delivered this position will be responsible to perform integration testing in HIL/SIL lab and after successful testing the same need to be verified and validated in target vehicle environment.
  • This position also needs to coordinate with cross functional team of ADAS/AD team and work closely with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience with RTOS/Android/Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Device driver experience on any platform is an asset (DMA, interrupts, memory mapping, etc).
  • Technical understanding of multimedia frameworks, codecs, container and streaming formats is an asset.
  • Self motivated. Excellent communication skills
  • Android, Linux experience is a big asset
  • Proficient in system-level software, in particular hardware-software interactions and resource utilization
  • Should be familiar with automotive communication standards (CAN, FlexRay and Ethernet) and their measurement systems
  • Strong measurement data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of functional safety
