Responsibilities

  • The role is to support the engineering development of ADAS feature for production. The focus is development of features and validation of the same. 
  • The responsibility starts with creating scenarios for each feature and generating requirement specification 
  • This Engineer will be responsible for creating the model in MatLab/Simulink and checking the same in simulation environment.
  • Once Model is verified then translate the requirement in software (C ++) in specific development.
  • Once SW is delivered this position will be responsible to perform integration testing in HIL/SIL lab and after successful testing the same need to be verified and validated in target vehicle environment.
  • This position also needs to coordinate with cross functional ADAS team and work closely with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience with ADAS/AD/ Powertrain development
  • Masters/PhD Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or computer science)
  • Proven experience with ADAS system design which includes Scenario creation, Customer function creation and modeling requirement 
  • Experience programming in Python and/or C/C++
  • Proficient in system-level software, in particular hardware-software interactions and resource utilization
  • Should be familiar with automotive communication standards (CAN, FlexRay and Ethernet) and their measurement systems
  • Strong measurement data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of functional safety
