Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Hours: Part-Time (15 Hours per Week)

Wage: Hourly $16-$20 per/hour DOE

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Job Description: The Accounting Clerk is responsible aiding the Accounting Manager in maintaining all DirtFish credit card transactions, AP/AR, W-9’s, and merchant statements. The ideal person for this role is someone who has an eye for details and does not mind mastering repetitive tasks on a daily basis. This person is also someone who wants a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work remote.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of credit card transactions reconciliation and expense reporting system (Tallie)
  • Enter and track payables using Bill.com
  • Handle vendor onboarding and W-9 records
  • Review and reconcile customer payments by CC
  • Manage the flow of data between DirtFish software applications including QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Tallie

Minimum Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self starting and always looking for learning opportunities
  • Take ownership of projects and have the ability to teach yourself what is needed to get the job done
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Office 365 (mainly in Excel) and the Google Suite
  • QuickBooks experience is ideal
