Account Manager, Partnership Marketing - New York

Job Overview

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join our team in the position of Account Manager, Partnership Marketing based in New York.The Account Manager, Partnership Marketing is responsible for managing the strategy integration and the day-to-day activity of multiple official status partners, including the company's initiatives, sponsors' activation and other revenue and non-revenue generating responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with official partners and all of their applicable agencies (marketing, media, event, etc.)
  • Serve as brand ambassador for sponsors and develop strategic activation plans leveraging the company's assets.
  • Utilize assets and serve as an interdepartmental liaison to grow partner brands and reach critical KPIs, including: social, digital, research, b2b, fan events, retail, hospitality, etc.
  • Act as catalyst for cross promotional activation and business to business relationships among the company's sponsors.
  • Review and approve partners' activation plans and creative concepts that utilize NASCAR IP.
  • Develop best practice case studies to share with official partners and use in new business development.
  • Write, build and create marketing presentations for partners and internal stakeholders Grow YOY activation and media support of the company's official partners, including some upselling of programs to generate revenue.
  • Manage and audit contractual and non-contractual obligations, including all associated budgeting elements.
  • Fulfill sponsor activation needs inclusive of social and digital media ideation, hospitality, executive requirements, promotional support, etc.
  • Manage initiatives internally and externally such as media relationships, marketing platform support, industry integration, etc.
  • Coordinate with Business Development and other appropriate departments to onboard new partners, ensuring mutual understanding of signed contracts and helping to ensure a successful launch of the partnership.

Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years related experience managing sports sponsorships, especially league/property, brand and/or agency experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
