Account Executive, Ticket Sales

Job Description:

NASCAR is seeking a positive and motivated sales professional that is looking to drive revenue at the highest level in motorsports for Chicagoland Speedway & Route 66 Raceway. Chicagoland Speedway & Route 66 Raceway are world-class facilities located in Joliet, IL. This role will be vital to the overall success of the department in generating revenue and developing relationships with customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work well with all levels of leadership and associates
  • Generate revenue through both new business campaigns as well as renewal cycles
  • Make 50+ outbound sales calls on a daily basis
  • Achieve sales goals, leading by example while supporting all track related outbound sales initiatives
  • Answer inbound calls from current and prospective customers with the objective of making the sale and/or upselling
  • Build strong relationships with defined account base through proactive communication
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 6 months experience as a top sales representative in the sports & entertainment industry
  • Distinguished verbal communicator with a strong phone presence
  • Must be able to work in a team environment interacting with multiple departments
  • Previous CRM platform experience
  • Passion for sales
  • Flexibility in working extended hours when needed
