Account Executive - Ticket Sales

Description:

Auto Club Speedway seeks a creative, high-energy, self-motivated individual with a strong work-ethic to sell hospitality, season, group, and single event tickets via telemarketing and face-to-face interaction. This position will be required to service existing accounts, prospect potential clients, create new group programs, perform basic office functions, attain ticket goals of the department each year, and any other duties as required.

Qualifications: 

  • Build strong relationships with defined account base through proactive communication
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to develop presentations for public speaking events
  • Ability to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills 
  • Capable of working well in a team-oriented environment 
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of time management, attention to detail and presentation skills

  • Computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office applications, Internet, etc.)

 Duties: 

  • Generate hospitality and ticket revenue through both new business campaigns and renewal cycles
  • Make 80+ outbound sales calls on a daily basis
  • Lead in creating an outbound sales culture that maximizes ticket sales and revenue generated through converted outbound calls
  • Achieve weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Use telemarketing and face-to-face communication as tools to sell hospitality, season and group tickets to individuals, companies and non-profit organizations
  • Manage and maintain current client accounts, while upholding a high level of customer service 
  • Establish professional relationships to create repeat business 
  • Attend out-of-office functions and networking events, promoting ticket packages and the track 
  • Staff the Auto Club Speedway display at community events throughout the year this will include nights and weekends
  • Develop lead generation programs with Consumer marketing team for community events
  • Work with Ticket Sales Manager to create programs to qualify leads and move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Create and develop new marketing concepts to generate revenue streams 
  • Race day duties to include but are not limited to: client interaction, networking and generation of new ticket sales and sponsorship 
  • Event nature of employment may require some weekend and evening work hours 
  • Other duties as required

Essential Requirements: 

  • College graduate (4) year degree
  • Previous sales experience preferred
