Account Executive

PitBox91 is on the lookout for a talented PR, media and marketing specialist with a passion for all things automotive to join our team as an Account Executive.

About us

Founded in 2018, PitBox91 was established to deliver high quality PR, social media and event management services to automotive and motorsport companies of all sizes. We handle projects for clients ranging from small start-ups to large international brands, working with cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles, both on and off the race track. We’re petrolheads, and our passion is central to the services we provide to our clients.

We don’t just talk about motorsport; we make it happen, too. As promoters of Sports Prototype Cup, we organise race events to a Formula 1-approved level, and the successful applicant will be directly involved in the administration and promotion of international racing events.

Primary responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

  1. Plan and create content for newsletters, client presentations, social media and video, drawing on topic knowledge, graphic design skills and an understanding of clients’ needs and audiences.

  2. Write press releases and race reports to a very high standard and in a timely manner for time sensitive content.

  3. Monitor and evaluate press coverage, social media statistics and other KPIs to take learnings for project improvement and to produce reports.

  4. Create graphics for social media use and edit/produce video content.

  5. Assist with managing motorsport or trackday events including administration, promotion and coordinating client hospitality.

  6. Develop the business, seeking new client opportunities and sales leads to win new business.

Requirements

The successful applicant will:
1. Have excellent writing skills, graphic design and video editing capabilities.

  1. Show a deep understanding of trends in the automotive industry, media and digital worlds.

  2. Be passionate for motorsport on both two and four wheels.

  3. Have experience working in motorsport paddocks.

  4. Be able to work both independently and in a team, working with and reporting to

    colleagues, creative partners and clients.

  5. Be versatile and flexible. Tasks will vary, hours are flexible, and the successful applicant

    will be expected to work weekends.

  6. Be based in the United Kingdom. The role is home-based, but travel to regular team

    meetings in the Midlands area, client meetings and events is necessary. The successful applicant should have their own vehicle.
