Lights out! We are looking for an energetic account director extraordinaire, with a passion for motorsport marketing, who is ready to ride with the most iconic F1 motorsports partnership in the world.

• Designing and marketing a portfolio of premium, brand-led events and hospitality experiences

What’s riding on you?

• Leadership of our flagship F1 account and account team
• Strategic and operational planning of a global event and hospitality programme; taking in F1 and a series of unique manufacturer based events, all around the world
• Creative integration of the client's brand messaging and product experience - briefing and managing our creative and production processes and teams
• Driving B2B, B2E and B2C marketing communications, sales and engagement, across our client’s global business and their target audiences.
• Overall responsibility for delivering the resulting programmes: including hospitality guest experiences; with bulletproof oversight of third party suppliers and budgets
• Leadership of our client and partner relationships, including our teams day-to-day reporting and stakeholder management – ensuring the successful delivery of all assets
• Inspirational leadership and project management across our agency team, working with the account manager to assign and monitor tasks and deadlines, training and development of junior team members
• In doing this, you would be joining the leadership team of one of Octagon’s most prestigious and exciting international accounts, with a shared ambition to spearhead growth across the client business and motorsport sector

Skills and experience that will make you successful: 

• A passion for F1 and motorsports – with experience in and around the Paddock
• A well-developed understanding and network across F1 and the wider motorsports arena
• Extensive understanding and experience with F1 hospitality programmes
• Collaborative marketing agency skills and the ability to brief/manage specialist service providers
• Loyal team player, who will champion an enthusiastic and energetic team/ agency culture
• A creative and operational ambition to deliver a truly unique solution for your clients’ needs
• Enjoy work that will take you to some of the most glamorous events and places in the world
