We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 5 axis machinist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience in 5 axis machining, and at least 5 years experience in 3 and 4 axis machining, as well as good Cad/Cam experience. However we would consider someone who has been doing 3/4 axis machining for many years who is looking to move onto 5 axis.
We utilise industry leading 5 axis Cam software Hypermill, by Openmind, which we use to programme our 5 axis Mazak machines. Experience in this would be highly advantageous but not essential as we will provide full off-site training.
Our machine shop is very fast paced and it operates extremely lean. All employees at Maztech take extreme pride in their work, and have all participated in building our extremely good reputation for producing the most complex of components to the highest of standards, to the tightest of delivery deadlines.
We work with some of the most well known names in the F1, Motorsport and Aerospace industries which can be highly demanding.
The successful candidate will be willing to work overtime as and when required to ensure work gets completed on time. There is normally at least 20 hours overtime per month with the option to work Saturdays as well.
Our normal 40 hour week is 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
