We have an exciting new opportunity to join our established engineering company; we work on high precision parts, mainly in the motorsports, aerospace and electronics sectors.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, reliable and someone with a positive attitude.
Your duties will include:
- Setting/operating, DMG, Matsuura & Acura 5 Axis machines
- Loading programs
- Machining components to drawings and CAD
- Working to machining tolerances while ensuring the completed component is checked against the required specification
Essential skills:
- Knowledge and experience of working on 5 axis machines with Heidenhain controls
- To be able to work under own initiative
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of hyperMILL and PowerMill
- Experience and understanding of working in Motorsport
