The primary purpose of the role is to:
- Focus on and improve reliability, availability and security across the IT application and infrastructure landscape
- Be a senior technical escalation point for all IT support topics
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a flexible way, particularly as we require support on out of hours maintenance changes and support on a rota basis
Therefore we anticipate that you'll:
Be skilled at...
- Problem solving - supporting in-house/bespoke applications
- Planning, organising, leading and delivering complex, fast moving workloads to recognised methodologies i.e. (ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile)
- Enterprise infrastructure, networking, storage and compute
- Data Loss Prevention, encryption and vulnerability prevention
- Application and infrastructure capacity, performance and availability monitoring.
Have experience of...
- A broad operational role within a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Database support, administration and optimisation
- Scripting, orchestration and automation techniques
Demonstrate understanding of...
- Desirable - High Performance Computing
- Desirable - Computer-aided technologies (CAx)
- Desirable - Motorsport, OEM automotive or engineering background
- Desirable - Testbed and simulation platforms
