2nd Line Senior Service Desk Analyst - Contract Position

IT Business Systems department at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains (HPP) are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst, to join our fast paced Service Desk. Your primary responsibility will be to provide IT operational support across the business for all IT services. A strong and broad ranging technical and customer focused background is therefore essential to be successful in the role.

This is a hands-on position to support and deliver technical solutions throughout all stages of the ITIL service lifecycle. The job holder must deliver on both operational and project based tasks, against demanding Service Level Agreements and challenging deadlines, with the drive to exceed customer expectations combined with the ability to offer additional support and guidance to fellow Service desk team members.

  • Capacity, performance and availability monitoring
  • Backups and Disaster Recovery
  • Desktop virtualization
  • Email, telephony and Unified Communications
  • Enterprise video content delivery
  • Working to ITIL practices
  • Proven continual service improvement experience.
  • Desirable - Motorsport, OEM automotive or engineering background, Experience of trackside IT support within Formula 1

Demonstrate knowledge of...

  • License, software and asset management
  • Security, vulnerability and malware threat prevention
  • Data protection and data loss prevention
  • Desirable - Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Operating System certification – system engineer level
  • High-level technical computing languages.

Hold these qualifications...

  • Degree or relevant qualifications in science or related technology subject
  • ITIL v3 Foundation level
