Scott Taylor Motorsport (STM) are currently seeking an 2nd /3rd year apprentice who is energetic and motivated to become an integral part of our GT race teams based on the Gold Coast. Reporting to the race teams Head Technician, the role requires the successful applicant to work closely within the team to service, maintain and prepare the vehicles within the workshop, as well as be required to travel and attend race weekends and events.
To be successful in this position the applicant should:
- Be in your 2nd/3rd year of a Mechanical (light vehicle) apprenticeship
- Posses high level communication skills with a willingness to work within a team environment
- Display impeccable attention to detail and cleanliness
- Be flexible with work hours dependant on business needs
- Be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally
- Experience with Mercedes & Porsche is desired but not essential
- Have previous proven racetrack experience
