Main tasks
- Build, prepare, integrate and maintain high-performance WRC engines
- Assemble and disassemble engines to specified tolerances
- Ensure high quality, reliability and the quality control documentation throughout the process
- Build development components and test engines and check their quality
- Attend and support potential rallying events and test days as required
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe work environment
- Approach encountered reliability issues and advise the team and workshop leaders
- Guarantee that engines are serviced to a high standard and fitting to race
Qualifications
- Previous experience of 2-5 years in building race/rally engines within a high-level motorsport environment
- Fluent English is compulsory (Basic German is a plus)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks is essential
- High developed attention to detail
- Work effectively as a member of a wider organization
- Ability to be self-directed and work well under pressure
