Your tasks:
- undertake the concept scheming and designing of composite components or assemblies
- ensuring on-time delivery within agreed cost limits
- generating detailed specifications of various composite components as well as associated component testing
- responsible for producing designs (including any associated tooling, jigs, patterns or moulds), drawings and lay-up books
The successful candidate will:
- have a Master/ Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- display sound knowledge and hands-on experience of carbon composite design technologies and laminate definition, including structural components and crash structures
- be proficient with CAD (CATIA V5: solids, surfaces & drafting, CPD/CPE), data management systems (Teamcenter) and MS Office
