We’re looking for you to join our team as a Performance engineer in motor racing
Tasks
- Part of the Performance engineers team which supports all race, test, simulator and rig activities
- Working on the energy management and performance controls to optimize the performance of car and driver
- Providing pre & post event simulation, analysis and key performance metrics of car performance in Formula E race and test events
- Run simulator sessions for car development, race preparation and post-race correlation
- Develop the simulator to improve cueing / behavior and correlation to track
Qualifications
- Degree in technology or comparable higher education
- At least 3 years’ professional training in motor sports – Formula E experience beneficial
- Good theoretical knowledge in the field of vehicle dynamics and the requirements thereof
- Knowledge of measurement technology application tools
- Practical experience in the use of commercial software such as Matlab
- Knowledge of data analysis programs, e.g. Atlas
- A command of written and spoken English (min. Level B1)
- Knowledge of the German language would be advantageous but not essential
- Time flexibility, absolute willingness to travel, especially at weekends -
- You are able to work in a team and independently, and your high level of commitment rounds off your profile
