ByKolles Racing is an experienced motorsport team competing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) including the famous 24 hours of Le Mans. Development and operation of our LMP1 car are all done by our team from Greding (D-91171) / Germany. To reinforce our team we are looking for a senior control engineer/application engineer.
Tasks:
- Programming of Cosworth ECU and MoTeC ECU
- Analysis and optimistation of control systems (traction control, shifting, mappings)
- Technical support of the team in the factory and at the racetrack
Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent qualification
- Very good electronic and technical understanding to setup control systems and engine mappings engines, 3 years experience minimum
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Data Analysis Software, Cosworth, MoTeC
- Knowledge of engine mapping and throttle maps
- Knowledge of traction control systems
- Knowledge of antilag control systems
- Knowledge of shift control
- Good and all-around technical basic knowledge
- Self-responsible, structured and independent style of work
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to travel
