Workshop Manager

Lohen is a New MINI specialist offering parts fitting services and high-end performance parts sales. Building on over 17 years of success and continuing growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Technician/Workshop Supervisor to fill the position of Workshop Manager.

Reporting to the General Manager this is a role for a “hands on” Workshop Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a similar senior technical role within the performance car aftermarket and will have exposure to all aspects of vehicle tuning and upgrades. They will be hard working & committed, commercially focused, have a very keen eye for detail and have a strong focus and desire to transfer their skills and know how to their team to make a difference.

The role requires a minimum of level 3 City & Guilds (or equivalent) relevant qualification, a minimum 10 years relevant industry experience, and at least 3-5 years’ in a similar senior level role. A strong interest in vehicle tuning and upgrade (or  motorsport) is essential for this role.

You will be expected to lead and motivate the workshop team by setting, implementing and maintaining a high technical and quality standard in a modern well-equipped workshop. You will be expected to provide day to day operational management, diagnostic approvals, technical help, training and advice to your team as well as liaise with the sales team and clients.
