As a result of an expansion at our Bedford Wind Tunnel facility, we have a number of exciting roles for :
WIND TUNNEL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
This demanding but rewarding role is key to delivering high-quality results to our Aerodynamicists in their quest to deliver more world championships. Providing operational and first-line support of the state-of-the-art wind tunnel and its associated systems, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for the smooth technical operation of the facility
Successful applicants for this role will be technically minded, with a strong background in engineering and good IT skills.
Knowledge of the following would be an advantage but are not essential:
- Leica / Polyworks
- MTS Flat Trac Rolling Road
- Servo-Hydraulic control systems
- Motorsport data acquisition systems
- PIV acquisition and processing
Being able to communicate effectively to a variety of people is critical, as is an ability to work under considerable pressure.
