Video Production Coordinator

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Video Production Coordinator to join our Motorsports team in Marietta, GA. The Video Production Coordinator will support the Motorsports marketing team in the planning, creation, editing and distribution of video content.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to

  • Understand and capture/communicate Motorsports brand and product marketing messages via video production lifecycle: from scripting, staging, recording, editing, and overall production.

  • Hands-on oversight of studio and on-location film productions (travel will be required for location shoots).

  • Collaborate with Motorsports copy resources to develop video scripts for multiple internal clients and product lines.

  • Knowledge of Motorsport product features and benefits; ability to incorporate product messaging into video assets based on identified goals/objectives.

  • Collaborate with Motorsports Marketing teams and other departments/groups to identify and satisfy video production needs.

  • Assist in the coordination, distribution, organization and archiving of video materials both internally (YMUS) and externally (affiliates/distributors worldwide).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Film/Video Production, Marketing Communications or equivalent preferred.

  • Minimum three years internet/broadcast/film production experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of standard audio recording practices and cinema/broadcast cameras required.

  • Demonstrates pre/post-production and editing expertise.

  • Must be competent using post-production software (e.g. Premiere, Avid, Pro Tools, Final Cut, etc.).

  • Must be able to manage moderate to extensive travel requirements up to 40%.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, maintain attention to detail and recognize time constraints with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

  • Experience with powersports products a plus.

Candidates must be able to show appropriate work samples of video material. Promo reel should include scripted and non-scripted examples for Internet and broadcast.
