Video Editor (Marketing Contributor)

Northridge4x4 is looking for its next video editing maestro to maintain and execute a robust marketing content calendar, as well as edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product that matches the teams’ vision and is suitable for broadcasting. Video editors are also responsible for a variety of administrative, clerical, and operational activities key to the success of the Marketing department. Video editors should be able to bring sight and sound together to portray desired branding, as well as have an eye for video quality, high digital literacy, and creativity.

Where you’ll spend your time:

  • Understanding and appreciating the role of the Marketing department in a B2B setting
  • Executing strong attention to detail to include proof-reading, brand standards, and data management
  • Understanding the need for a unique brand identity and help shape that identity
  • Well organized and capable of prioritizing multiple varied assignments
  • Interacts with a variety of individuals both inside and outside company
  • A team player willing to share responsibility and get their hands dirty, while exercising passion about providing outstanding customer service
  • Desiring to learn, develop new skills, and grow in the role.

You have / are:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1+ years’ experience working in an office setting (preferred)
  • Excellent time management and project prioritization skills; knowing and managing lead times
  • Critical thinking and solid decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to develop an overall video brand messaging strategy
  • Ability to capture studio-quality photographs and video while working both on and off-site
  • Proven track record writing for email, social media, and other customer-facing applications; use of professional communication over phone, email, and in-person conversations
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
  • Willingness to handle a wide variety of assignments ranging from packing and shipping boxes, to providing creative input for promotions and marketing programs
