Description:
We at Driver61 are creating motorsport and engineering content on our YouTube Channel with over 350,000 subscribers and over 4.5 Million views per month.
We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to join our small team and support the creation of two videos per week for the channel.
Initially, the role will be 2-3 days per week on a freelance basis. There would be potential to increase the weekly hours and/or move to a longer-term partnership in the future
The role will be working alongside an existing editor at Driver61, and a successful applicant will be required to fit within the existing workflow in Final Cut Pro X.
We would be looking for someone with an interest and understanding of motorsport as well as the engineering that goes into making it possible. In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering would be advantageous in the process, but not required.
We will be asking for a short 2 minute test-clip to be provided as part of the interview process, with us providing the raw footage and a short brief. You will be required to source supporting footage from the internet. We expect the task to take less than one hour to complete.
The position will be remote, so effective online collaboration and communication skills will be required to succeed in the role.
