We have an excellent opportunity to join Alpine F1 Team as a Vehicle Performance Engineer.
Vehicle Performance Engineer – The role
As a Vehicle Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for generating vehicle performance estimates to support the design, development and operation of current and future vehicles. You will also analyse vehicle performance to improve understanding of the relationship between vehicle design and vehicle performance.
This position requires you to undertake vehicle performance analysis to an exceptional standard and provide continuous development of vehicle performance analysis tools. You will be assisting in the correlation of the vehicle model, the maintenance of the simulation database and regularly problem solve in areas of vehicle dynamics and performance.
Vehicle Performance Engineer – The person
We are looking for individuals with a first-class degree in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally with professional experience within motorsport and strong demonstratable understanding of vehicle dynamics. Experience in the use of Matlab/Simulink is essential, with familiarity with MAT software (Atlas & System Monitor) and/or Python an advantage.
