Job Description

Hennessey Performance Engineering seeks a full-time transportation and logistics coordinator with professional experience in the automotive or transportation industry, preferably in high-end or aftermarket automobiles.

In this position, you will coordinate customer vehicles to be picked up and dropped off through the central dispatch portal as well as communicate with customers and facilitate documentation and quality assurance. Along the way, your stellar attitude and customer service skills will not only help move vehicles, but secure customers for life and future business.

Applicant should have experience in transportation and logistics of vehicles preferable using the central dispatch portal. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required; as well as the utmost level of organization.Candidate must possess good computer skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Transporting and Coordinating vehicles to be picked up and dropped off all over the country
  • Maintain consistent rapport with customers
  • Manage transportation drivers, companies, and prices
  • Have a realization that business is built on customer satisfaction and be devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction in your service with the customer,
  • ‪Efficiently answer customer communication regarding their vehicle transportation
  • Prepare customer paperwork and folders according to Hennessey guidelines
  • Manage all documents in provided software to keep track of customer information

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Logistics/Transportation with a high level of organization
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Experience with a Central Dispatch preferred
  • General knowledge of automobiles
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to solve problems and manage customer expectation
  • Local and able to drive to our office in Sealy Tx Monday through Friday

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High school degree or equivalent required;
