Transport Administrator

We are looking to recruit a Transport Administrator to assist the Transport Manager with planning and record keeping for our busy vehicle fleet.


Duties will include, but not restricted to:

  • Scheduling vehicle maintenance around a busy event calendar.

  • Vehicle and driver Tachograph Card downloads and analysis.

  • Assisting with areas of compliance relating to UK/EU driving hours / customs requirements

  • Issuing relevant driver and in-vehicle documentation.

  • Recording up to date driving qualifications.

  • Arranging driver training.

  • Assisting with transport planning, including arranging relevant road tolls.


The ideal candidate should:

  • Have good IT skills with attention to detail.

  • Ideally have previous experience working in the transport industry. A Transport Manager CPC qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills and capable of providing a professional image at all times.

  • Be willing to learn and develop new skills.



The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Good administration skills are essential and any other required training will be provided.
