Trainee Turbocharger Technician

Turbo Dynamics Ltd is an ISO accredited company that have been trading for over 27 years. We supply, upgrade, and repair turbochargers for all applications such as passenger car, motorsport, marine and agricultural.

We currently have a position in our busy workshop for a Trainee Turbocharger Technician. Working with our experienced Technicians under the Factory Manager this is a demanding role ideal for a bright, motivated person keen to learn and progress within a small company.

Full, on-site, training will be given to the right candidate so previous experience not necessary but a basic knowledge of hand tools would be beneficial. The role would suit a school leaver or someone looking for a change in career.

Responsibilities include

  • Strip and assess turbochargers of various sizes
  • Complete reports on the condition of the turbochargers for the sales staff
  • Fully process and clean components
  • Carry out basic machining to parts (additional training will be given)

Progression within the role is possible and, with extra training and dedication, can lead to the assembly and balancing of turbochargers as well as more advanced machining and welding.
