Track Services Representative - Event Worker

Job Description

The Track Services Representative is an important part of delivering the ultimate guest services experience to our customers at venues across the United States. This positions primary responsibilities are to provide customer and technical support, shop, and trackside services for rental contracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Event contact for track rental of radios and equipment. Ready orders for event, distribution, and return.
  • Provide technical and service support to our team services and corporate rental customers. Ability to answer questions and address any customer concerns regarding products, trouble shooting, repeater setup, radio programming, etc.
  • Provide the highest level of trackside customer service to customers.
  • Maintain, track, and service rental equipment inventory and record keeping.
  • Maintain frequency coordination at each event.
  • Able to provide technical support in programing and operation of applicable Motorola and Kenwood brand 2-way radios.
  • Able to provide general service and light repair of motorsports related radios and accessories (headsets, interface cabling, adapters, antenna cabling, etc.).

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Proficient in programming and operating of 2-way radios.
  • Proficient in general service and light repair of radios and accessories.
  • Ability to interact with customers and provide a high level of customer service and to deal effectively with their questions and/or problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, customers and officials in other departments.
  • Ability to work alone or with others.
  • Practice and maintain professional work ethics, attitude, and appearance.
  • Contagious and positive attitude.
  • CDL License a plus.

Work Requirements/Physical Demands

  • Must be willing and able to travel weekly to events as assigned.
  • Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
  • Ability to work outdoors in the changing weather.
  • Ability to work extended shift lengths depending on specific event needs.
  • Ability to be on feet in variable weather for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, twist, bend, and lift and move up to 50 pounds.
