Tool Path Programmer

The position:

We are currently seeking an experienced Toolpath Programmer to join our Pattern Shop team in manufacturing.

The role:

This is a varied role in an exciting environment and to succeed you will need to be adaptable, demonstrate initiative along with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

Skills you'll use every day:

The successful candidate will have a good level of experience in a machining environment. You will ensure patterns, jigs and race car components are produced in the most efficient, cost effective way whilst keeping lead-times to a minimum. The successful candidate will be supplying program information to machinists operating three and five axis machines using a diverse material range. It is a critical responsibility of the role to ensure that all relevant data regarding scheduling of work is kept up to date and accurate

  • Independent and ambitious with good organisational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with management, peers and other partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail with good numeracy and literacy skills.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in producing high quality programs to meet the demands set out by the development and production plans for the formula one race car as well as external customer projects. Training will be available for the successful candidate.

Shifts available:

For these roles we have a choice of two shifts available:

4 days on, 4 days off

Alternating early/late shift
