TEST TECHNICIAN – Powertrain Testing
We require an experienced Test Technician to provide dedicated support to the testing of high-performance Race/OEM powertrains (ICE & EV).
You must be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in ICE testing and / or EV testing
- Good GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grades.
- An understanding of base engine and EV powertrain operation.
- Working knowledge of Powertrain Control Systems (ICE / EV).
- In depth knowledge of full engine/EV powertrain dynamometer and sub-system rig testing.
- A good level of IT literacy.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Previous High Voltage training desirable.

- The ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team, even when under pressure.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Have a clean and tidy approach to your work.
- Be flexible to meet tight deadlines, including additional hours/shift work to fulfil the project requirements.
- Good communication skills in verbal and written formats.
