Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated Test Technicians to join our Powertrains Validation and Testing team within the new state-of-the-art Red Bull Powertrains facility based at the Milton Keynes Campus.
The roles will be factory based and will involve sign-off of an extensive range of Powertrains assemblies, ranging from single components up to full vehicles with electrified powertrain.
Reporting to the Test Technician Team Leader, your day-to-day tasks will focus on department requirements including:
- Dyno and rig equipment build, and UUT installation onto rigs
- Routine sign-off of powertrain and drivetrain components and assemblies.
- Advanced tests working in collaboration with Powertrains Development Engineers
- Maintenance & upkeep of dynos, test equipment and the supporting facilities.
- Recording and analysis of routine sign-off test data, communicating results when necessary.
- Ensuring business processes and paperwork are accurately maintained
To be successful in this Test Technician role you will need:
- A can-do approach and proven experience in an F1, high level motorsport or OEM testing environment.
- Knowledge of Powertrain systems and an understanding of test rig control systems
- A flexible working approach and the ability to work within tight timescales
- A pro-active approach to problem solving in a technical environment.
- Proficiency in MS office applications.
