YOUR ROLE

As a Technology Executive, you must strive to explore and understand new technologies and these solutions need to meet new business needs within our eco system. Your mission is to increase user productivity and maintain user satisfaction. You will do this by promoting technologies by actively marketing content internally on our intranet and culture. You will master our company’s app eco system and establish workflows and problem resolutions.  
 
Like everyone within the Technology department, you will deliver hard and software to end-users next to providing end-user support, licensing tracking, system maintenance, upgrades and migrations and changes. 
 
You must have organisational skills to run multiple projects with similar priorities.  
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING  

  • Design and implement solutions that meet the users/business needs  
  • Evaluate new technologies and operationalize for production use  
  • Regular interaction with employees and fellow workers to proactively identify areas for improvement or new requirements  
  • Installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of IT software and hardware  
  • Patrol internal and external digital platforms to ensure premium user experience and content quality  
  • Support the system administrator performing daily system/network monitoring; verifying the integrity and availability of all services and key processes  
  • Contribute to the user experience and features design process of company’s digital platforms  
  • Actively review company’s app ecosystem and suggest changes  
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings.
  • Install, test and configure computers, mobiles, peripherals and software.
  • Use IT tools to perform timely hard and soft upgrades as required  
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and licenses  
  • Document internal procedures and create end user material  
  • Patrol internal meeting rooms and virtual presence systems and ensure functionality  
  • Prepare and host workshops about internal tech tools and procedures for our employees  
  • Perform out of hours and weekend support as per department’s schedule. During a race day, you will be required to be available ‘on-call’, over evenings and weekends. 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

  • Proven experience of IT support on an OSX and Microsoft environment  
  • Proven experience using O365  
  • Experience in JAMF or other MDM solutions is a plus  
  • Knowledge and experience with IP networks, internet connectivity and mobile platforms  
  • Experience in process design and setting up data workflows  
  • Strong team player and willingness to perform hands-on functions  
  • Very good communication skills, solid team work ethic and positive attitude for learning new skills and technologies quickly  
  • Patience is essential  
  • Excellent research abilities to supplement experience in resolving issues and providing advice/recommendations on technical subjects  
  • Ability to interface effectively with users in a multilingual environment and respond quickly to changing situations
  • Event background and/or knowledge, a plus  Experience in any CRM and lead Management software is a bonus
