We have an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities Team who support the day-to-day running of our site where we design, develop, test and manufacture our multi-championship winning Formula One cars. Red Bull Racing has grown beyond recognition since our humble beginnings at the end of 2004 but our factory remains the beating heart of the team.
Through frequent expansion, the site houses over 500,000 sq. ft. of high-end, bespoke commercial office, manufacturing and assembly facilities. The Technical Services Coordinator will work with our Facilities team, who are responsible for all building maintenance and projects across the estate.
We are looking for someone who currently works predominately on 2D CAD in order to bring 2D buildings CAD skills in-house, providing support to our Projects and Facilities team by mocking up scheme ideas and keeping our documentation up to date with the many changes that happen on a regular basis. In addition to this core skill, the successful applicant will be given some operational responsibilities to support the team, so a willingness to develop into a wider role is critical.
The site houses almost every type of building services system and is therefore a great place to expand knowledge about those systems. We have clean rooms, machine shops, complex specialist systems such as extraction and compressed air. In addition, the latest manufacturing equipment, all of which fall under the remit of the Facilities team.
The successful candidate should have experience of updating and developing building drawings using 2D CAD systems (Autocad or Siemens NX). In addition the successful candidate would enjoy problem solving and be keen to learn hands on. Practical knowledge of Building Services systems is desirable, not essential. You must have a flexible approach and be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Additionally you must have strong communication and organisational skills.
