Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Systems Design Group. You will provide designs to allow the integration of the fuel, water, engine, exhaust systems and mechanical integration for electrical systems into the chassis. This will include component design as well as tooling and jigs.
Based in the heart of our F1 design office you will work closely with the other design areas including Electronics, Car Build, Manufacturing and Race Team. With a shared dedication to excellence in engineering, you'll influence our designs and make your mark in F1 history!
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have recent, relevant design experience within Aerospace, Motorsport or Automotive industries
- Show creativity, suggest new ideas, and be involved in our wide ranging and ambitious designs
- Be an experienced user of 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX desirable but training will be given)
- Be confident in presenting your ideas and design work.
- Be passionate about and have a talent for engineering
