Envision Racing is a UK based Formula E Team competing in the FIA Formula E World Championship and seeks a qualified and experienced Support Engineer to be employed full time. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to thrive in this challenging yet highly rewarding role.
Support Engineer – Formula E Team
- Reporting to the Technical Director, this role has responsibility for supporting the Race, Performance and Strategy groups remotely at race events and trackside at some tests.
- Be an integral link between the Team and their powertrain manufacturer.
- Improve car performance in the areas of suspension, brakes, tyres and energy management.
- Attend simulator sessions and run offline simulations, and analysis tool and model development.
Key skillset requirements are:
- Perfect planning, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent inter-personal and reporting skills to clearly circulate engineering information.
- A highly detail orientated but adaptable candidate.
- Excellent and demonstrable engineering ability with at least 3 years relevant experience in vehicle race/performance engineering at a high level of motorsport e.g. FE, F1, F2, F3, Indycar or WEC.
- In depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics and interaction with electric powertrain control systems.
- Vehicle performance development and testing experience.
- Proficient with modern data analysis tools.

This position is based at Silverstone in our purpose-built workshop with free onsite parking and surrounded by forests and with an onsite gym to unwind during breaks. The role will require some international travel and long flexible hours.
