Structural Calculation Engineer
Would you like to
- perform advanced nonlinear stress analyses of complex composite and mechanical structures?
- be involved in development projects from the idea through to implementation?
- participate in the evaluation of new calculation methods and software?
Do you have
- a mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree or similar with at least 5 years of professional experience in Formula 1 or motorsport?
- solid knowledge of FEM tools (HYPERWORKS, ABAQUS, Optistruct, Laminate Modeller or Laminate Tools,) and good working knowledge of CAD solid and surface modelling (CATIA V5/V6/3dx)?
- proven competence in hand calculations and a particularly good understanding of lightweight structures and load paths?
- experience in manufacturing processes of composite components?
- experience of non-destructive structural testing methods?
- a passion for sport or motor racing and a pro-active attitude in contributing and achieving Team goals?
- a Swiss work permit or an EU nationality and therefore meet the criteria for a work permit in Switzerland?
