Purpose of the job:

Lead specific Powertrain Projects aimed to bring functional innovation, new concepts and differentiated technologies (including Target setting /Value Assessment reports) for Light Vehicle Gasoline and Diesel Applications with emphasis on upcoming electrification of powertrain (e-boost, Hybridization).

Particular consideration on new boosting functions from component level to full system, to enable new engine functionalities and its coupling in electrified powertrain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Run Innovation projects internally and externally to Honeywell. (i.e. FVV, AVL, IAV, FEV, Academia etc., including Demo Car) with specific emphasis on electrification aspect of future powertrain system, i.e. e-Boost, mild  and Plug _in Hybrids.

- Define Target Setting for New Product and follow up Value Assessment aligned to upcoming legislation and market needs.

- Ensure Budget compliance in his area of responsibility.

- Create and present technical papers at key conferences and symposiums

- Liaise with OEM Predev Dept in conjunction with Application team and in support of  related activities.

- Understand Industry technical  trends and feed Honeywell Tech Roadmapping with Powertrain VOC (emphasis on electrification)
