Role Overview

The Specialist, Learning & Development – EU will help development and implementation of instructional design and training plans aimed to ensure every Fisker retail associate in Europe is fully trained on both the customer journey and product we build. The Specialist, Learning & Development – EU works closely with both the Manager Learning & Development Global as well as the European teams to make sure all training reflects specific market needs. She or he will also lead implementation of new training curriculum into operations and ensure successful attendance and completions are properly tracked. A degree of creativity, self-motivation, discretion and independent judgement is expected and required. High energy and passion for providing tools for success are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote a culture of safety and quality in accordance with Fisker and industry standards

  • Adapt training materials focused on product to European audience: the vehicles and EV ownership

  • Support RFI/RPF vendor selection process and support developing instructional design to define program outcomes

  • Highlights the importance of customer satisfaction for sales and service and how training can impact results

  • Support developing core concepts and objectives of instructor led courses to ensure consistency and all training throughout the program

  • Oversee the implementation of new and existing course content

  • Utilize product and regionally specific reporting to improve training effectiveness

  • Research, strategize and adapt instructional content or learning solutions for a variety of learning styles with varying skill levels whilst incorporating the country related specificities across Europe

  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging functional expertise theories and tools

  • Manage the relationship and feedback loop with all teams in Europe

  • Follows up results of EU specific departmental KPIs and proposes improvement plans

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar required

  • 2 years of experience in training, within the automotive industry is a plus

  • Program management experience is a plus

  • Strong organization, communication and presentation skills

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Proven ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Goal-oriented self-starter, highly motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Positive, enthusiastic and passionate mindset

  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner

  • Passion for electric vehicles and sustainability

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Business fluent spoken and written in English and in German. Other European language is a strong plus
