Sous Chef

The Position:

We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to deliver an outstanding level of hospitality service to all team members, clients and guests of the Williams F1 team at all Grand Prix events, based out of the teams trackside motorhome and all international race hospitality suites. As sous chef you will be expected to aid the head chef wherever necessary both trackside and between events

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in large scale sporting events is desirable.
  • Assist the head chef with menu planning, food purchasing and pre-ordering of all f&b supplies, stock rotation and freight management for all future races. 
  • They should be creative and have a good knowledge of all sections of the kitchen inc pastry. 
  • They should be quick thinking, calm under pressure and adaptable. 
  • Good communication and team management skills 
  • A high level of attention to detail and meet high standards of food hygiene. 
  • They will be expected to oversee the kitchen in the head chefs absence and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. 
  • They should be available from the very beginning to the very end of each event, to assist the team in setting up and packing down. 

This role will require the person to attend all 23 races per year.
