Role Overview
Fisker is in search of a DevOps Engineer, reporting to the SRE Manager, Digital Product & Edge Computing, to plan, implement, and scale our many DevSecOps initiatives. You will have a crucial role supporting multiple Engineering teams within the Fisker org. You will contribute directly to our web services, applications, tooling, and workflows. You will help us reach our goals of building the most secure, reliable, and performant systems that connect our vehicle, our customers, our internal users, and internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Integrate security tooling into build/deploy pipelines
- Automation of security scans, penetration tests, shift-left vulnerability scanning
- Design, provision, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and resources
- Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Ensure the highest level of security in all cloud systems
- Implement robust logging, monitoring and alerting, and participate in on-call shift rotations
- Build custom tools and integrate 3rd party tools to empower our engineers and improve productivity
- Work with web, back-end, mobile, and QA engineers from multiple teams within the organization in order to streamline our processes and drive cross-team collaboration
- Contribute code and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to architectural discussions and proposals
- Contribute to documentation of SRE processes
- Troubleshoot issues and create postmortems
- Mentor team members in SRE / DevSecOps concepts, tools, and processes
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience

2+ years of SRE / DevSecOps Engineer experience

Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
-
Experience with CSPM, CWPP tools (Lacework, Snyk, Orca, Checkpoint, etc)
-
Experience with SCA tools (Synopsys)
-
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS)
-
Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
-
Experience with logging, monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, PagerDuty, etc.)

Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc.)

Experience with high traffic, high availability services

Experience with strict security requirements and implementation

Exceptional communication skills
