The Role:
Develop, maintain and operate the teams in house driver-in-the-loop simulator.
Produce pre and post event simulation reports for both Race and Test.
Provide on track performance engineering support for one of our FE race cars.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience of working with and developing DIL / HIL simulators, ideally using rFactor, Canopy and Podium technologies software.
Knowledge of developing simulator software components in Matlab / Simulink.
Experience with ECU calibration and data viewer tools (e.g. Racecon, System Monitor, Windarab, Atlas).
Experience of the calibration of vehicle and tyre models to support simulator correlation.
Experience in a similar role within F1, FE, or WEC / IMSA.
A strong academic background with a relevant engineering degree (2:1 Minimum or equivalent).
A proven ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely technical information.
