SKF is taking its extensive experience and combining it with the latest technology in mobile apps, big data and advanced analytics to provide our customer with the right information at the right time so decision making is made simple.
As this is a new group, part of the initial work will be to build a high performing and agile team in Gothenburg to bring next generation digital solutions to the market.

Senior Software Engineer/Developer
As a Software Engineer/Developer, you will be part of the team that builds SKFs digitalization platform and with the team be responsible for building and operating the service.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Contribute and work with the overall architecture alongside the team.
Job requirements
- University degree, preferably computer science or related field
- At least 5 years experience from working with multiple programming languages (Fullstack)
- Fluent in English.
- Occasional travel depending on the assignment
To be a successful Software Engineer, you also need experience in and understanding of development of distributed systems, micro services, and Amazon Web Services. We are using the latest cloud service solutions and will strive to continue to do so. Our way of working is Agile where we have implemented a model with guilds, tribes and teams related to customer personas. Inside the teams we have Product owners, Agile coaches, QA’s and Engineers working together with passion and fun.
