Scuderia AlphaTauri is looking for a brilliant and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Aerodynamic Technology team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Work using full stack web development of the Aerodynamics Results Systems in a small Agile team environment
Develop and improve the internal web platform (web-based results display and analysis tool) in Python/Django/JavaScript, with scope for other applications
- SUPPORT OF AERODYNAMIC DATA LIFECYCLE
Problem investigation, analysis and rectification
- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Identify user and system requirements for new applications
Prepare specifications, workflow, UI and test/support documentation
Lead and develop projects from early concept through to production
Provide guidance for the architectural planning for frameworks
- FLEXIBILITY
Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the project
Infrequent ‘out of hours’ R&D test cover/data system support
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Minimum 5 year work experience in the field with both frontend and server-side systems
- Complete understanding of modern software development practices (source control, change management, automated testing, release procedures)
- Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools
- Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Javascript
- Capable of working to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Natural problem-solving abilities
- High degree of attention to detail
- Database administration and performance tuning is a plus
- Experience in Motorsports is a plus
- Computer/Data Science qualification or similar discipline to degree level.
- Fluency in English
