Senior New Partnerships Executive

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the New Partnerships Lead on maintaining day to day management of client / regional patch ensuring that all intel is updated within the corporate sales database
  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with prospective clients
  • Working with business insights team to conduct market research and lead generation in new categories of focus
  • Create, develop, delivering partnership proposals for respectful clients, working closely with other team members to build propositions that are creative and bespoke to the client’s needs
  • Present to prospective new prospects in an effective and confident manner
  • Managing timeline of prospective new partner conversations inline with company objectives
  • Update activity/prospect status in weekly sales meeting with the wider team
  • An internal conduit for all prospective new partners, involving and updating other departments as and when needed such as content, race promotion, legal, hospitality, and marketing
  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders including brands and agencies
  • Liaise with the Partnership Management team when onboarding all new partners
  • Work with Partnership management team and commercial team coordinator to process prospect hosting requests at races in line with deadlines and available inventory
  • Undertake other duties within your capability as your Team Leader / Director may assign to you from time to time

 

About You

  • University Degree
  • Experience in similar role at a dynamic organisation supporting a fast-paced team;
  • Experience of working with high level investment projects (large budgets);
  • Knowledge within sport /sport business
  • Sales and accounts negotiation experience;
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with industry expertise;
  • Interest in sport/sport business
  • A positive, confident and determined approach to work.
  • Experience of working in a dynamic environment, often to tight deadlines, with a collaborative and ‘can do’ approach
  • Proactive and self-sufficient
