Job Description:
Senior Development Lead Engineer
With regards to our latest projects we are looking for a highly skilled senior development engineer, experienced in
motorsport and preferably with experience in Touringcar, GT, or WRC. Selection of associated activities:
- Leading role in entire vehicle and other development projects
- Involvement in the entire development process from conception to on track engineering (Testing, Race)
- Vehicle and assembly conception according to technical regulations
- High amount of CAD Design Activity (Packaging, Component Design)
- Optimization of new and existing developments by use of simulation tools (FEA, CFD,…)
- Development of optimization and layout routines/tools
- Performance optimization of entire vehicles during race season (continuous development)
- Involvement in functionality, performance and endurance tests & on site race activity
- International operation
Job Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or similar qualification
- Relevant Experience in Motorsport development or high performance automotive development
- Innovative and creative mind
- Excellent CAD knowledge (Catia V5-6)
- Further CAE preferred (FEA, CFD, Matlab, MBS,…)
- Excellent overall knowledge and understanding of motorsport vehicles including FIA regulation aspects
- “On-Track” experience e.g. as race engineer beneficial
- Good English skills (verbal & read/write)
- Above average commitment and team work ability, as usual in professional motorsport
- Good Communication and teamwork skills
- Target oriented approach & ability to work independently
- Willing to travel
Terms of employment:
- “Fly-in” option (Company owned modern Apartments available at head office location)
- Free Lance basis or fully employed, both possible
