Purpose

 

  • To actively contribute to the Team’s primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor’s Championship.
  • Responsible for delivering creative solutions for physical and digital touchpoints for brand, brand marketing campaigns and all other promotional activities. You will lead the ideation, development, and design of progressive and category disruptive creative to be deployed across a variety of branded inventory, digital and physical media, physical environments, team assets and more. In addition, you will set and oversee the brand’s art direction across content and campaigns, in alignment with the brand objectives and strategy. The role will be supported by a junior designer to aid the rollout of creative applications as well as team organisation.
  • This individual must be innovative and disruptive in style, with a background in branding and brand marketing. They should have knowledge in creative strategy and production and have the ability to think cross-platform ensuring all concepts are fit for purpose, meet the brief and are achievable. They should also be experienced in considering context and culture when working for a global brand.

Primary Responsibilities

 

Core responsibilities will stretch across four key areas: concept, design, production and team and stakeholder management.

 

  • Work with the Head of Brand Strategy to define the AMF1 Team's creative treatment and art direction annually in response to strategic brand positioning.
  • Develop collaborative creative treatments for partner campaigns to ensure alignment with the AMF1 Team look and feel.
  • Receive and respond to creative briefs from the brand marketing team (campaign level), and wider commercial teams including sales and guest experience.
  • Create, prepare and socialise conceptual directions with senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage creative production where necessary.
  • Quality control – oversee the deployment of all creative to ensure it meets the level of quality expected.
  • Manage production timescales and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and business functions.
  • Manage and develop your direct report creating a motivating environment for team talent to thrive and perform at their best.

 

Success Criteria

 

Overall, the role will be measured on the continual progress of our brand ID to support market relevancy of the AMF1 Team brand.

 

  • Conception and delivery of award-winning, modern, brand-fitting creative.
  • Deploying creative across multiple touchpoints seamlessly and within budget.
  • Educating our creative content teams in our brand ID and respective design systems to ensure consistency.

 

Skills & Knowledge Required

 

  • Proven experience as a creative designer with a brand or agency.
  • Fluent in Full Creative Cloud software.
  • Knowledge of and some experience in using Cinema 4D, Da Vinci Resolve.
  • In-depth knowledge of current design graphic trends (particularly in the luxury sector).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design.
  • 5 - 8 years' of creative design experience.

 

This role is full-time and based in London.

However, travel to Silverstone is needed on regular occasions.
