As a Senior Car System Design Engineer, you will be completing design of engine systems, fuel system, gearbox cooling system and integration of these into the whole car package. You will be responsible for the specific components assigned to you, contributing from concept through detailed design, creating supporting documentation and contributing to problem resolution.

- COMPLETE DETAILED DESIGN, TO SPECIFICATION, THE CAR SYSTEMS COMPONENTS AND INSTALLATIONS ASSIGNED ON TARGET ACCORDING TO PLANNED DEADLINES
- SUPPORT DESIGN WORK WITH CONCEPT AND AERODYNAMIC DEPARTMENTS TO MAXIMISE CAR SYSTEMS IMPACT ON OVERALL CAR PERFORMANCE

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Extensive Automotive design experience at a senior level, ideally related experience in F1
- Knowledge of metallic material uses and treatments
- Basic understanding of composite materials and their production
- Preferably experienced user of Siemens NX CAD software, equivalent knowledge of other applications acceptable
- Ability to scope new tasks thoroughly
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- To take the initiative and Innovation
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team, external suppliers and colleague
- Degree level in Mechanical Design Engineering or similar
- Excellent English language written and spoken, knowledge of Italian beneficial
