Senior Account Manager

A new position has become available within our Commercial department. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join us and be part of a team responsible for our partners and official suppliers.

The responsibilities of this role are:

  • To be accountable for the day to day management of nominated partner and official suppliers;
  • To ensure the highest level of partner servicing on every aspect of the assigned partners;
  • To fully project manage assigned partners from planning, development, management, events, trackside, activations and administration;
  • To liaise with internal departments, senior management and external third parties in the planning and execution of partner’s programmes – including PR, race team, technical staff, agencies etc. to ensure partner objectives are communicated and met;
  • To oversee logistical delivery of partner programmes and events throughout the year trackside and away from the track;
  • To work with partners in a proactive manner to help develop their strategic planning and to add creativity to the way they use their contractual assets to meet their objectives;
  • To produce ROI documents to measure the delivery of value against the partner’s core sponsorship objectives including use of media monitoring data;
  • To provide comprehensive reporting on all assigned partners suitable to be used at all levels within the team and with the partner’s organisation;
  • To ensure that Quarterly Review Meetings are held with all assigned partners so that the team is proactive in the process of retaining partners long term;
  • To create and event manage specific partner events;
  • To develop additional income streams for the Marketing department through sales of additional assets and opportunities to partners.  To be involved in the renegotiation of existing partners alongside the Commercial Director;
  • To work closely with the PR & Communications team to create bespoke media and social media plans for all assigned partners;
  • To be an active member of the marketing team and to proactively be involved in specific projects within the department that may from time to time occur that may not be related to a specific partner;
  • To learn about the team, the facilities and the garage environments, to be able to give high level tours both at the factory and at the track as required;
  • The role will involve some travel to some (not all) races in addition to events or visit partners as required.
     
    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
     
  • have a proven track record of partner/account management preferably within F1 or a motorsport environment;
  • A dynamic personality to be able to engage and influence a wide variety of people at all levels;
  • A self-motivated individual who can work positively under pressure and bring energy to this exciting role;  positivity and enthusiasm are essential;
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and an ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organisations;
  • Project management and reporting experience is required;
  • Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal demands in a calm and efficient manner.
