Due to expansion & acquisition of this long established specialist fastening supplier the position of Sales Manager has become available. The role requires you to oversee the day to day operations of the company working alongside the office manager with duties including staff management, purchasing, stock control etc. As well as expanding sales of the company’s range of fasteners.
The role will see you sell to a varied mix of customers including Manufacturers, Fabricators, Engineers, Distributors, contractors etc. Currently the majority of business is driven through word of mouth and recommendation. The company has a strategic plan to expand into new markets such as Motorsport and the Classic Car restoration and maintenance sectors. A new e commerce website is being developed and you will have the necessary skills to be a part of this new exciting facility.

Person
The company is looking for an experienced, sales driven person with a strong understanding of the fastener market. You will be viewed as a senior person within the team and will work alongside the existing manager who is retiring to facilitate a smooth handover of duties. You will need to be able to clearly demonstrate substance & success in management and of selling Fastener products or very closely related products. You need to be windows software literate with excellent work ethic and a go get it attitude sales person who has good social skills, hunger & a hardworking approach who can sell by reputation rather than price. In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary package including health care and share bonus.The Position would suite an experienced individual wanting a more office based position whilst still visiting new and existing clients.
