Requirements and Test Management Engineer (VED)

Function Development & Vehicle Integration in Vehicle Dynamics is looking for a Development Engineer in Requirements and Test Management. You will be responsible for the requirements and test management on vehicle level for stateoftheart Electronic Brake & safety Systems.

What you will bring to the team

  • Responsible for Requirements Management on vehicle level responsible for Test Management on vehicle level
  • Coordinate releases on vehicle level
  • Consolidate and coordinate customer Requirements and Requirements on vehicle, system and component level
  • Coordinate and support by the elicitation of requirements 

Interface to Processes and Methodology maintain the Test and Requirements Database for all application projects in NA define and support the Test and Requirements workflow prepare and coordinate the System Releases interface to internal customers in FD&VI (Project Management and Function Development)and to Systems RQ & TM and Software RQ support release activities in “Function Development & Vehicle Integration¨support function and application testing (vehicle / HIL) support verification and validation testing (vehicle / HIL)

Qualifications
Must Have

Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline
Knowledge in requirements and test management and
tools (e.g. Doors)
Basic experience in system engineering
Basic experience with ISO26262 and SPICE
Basic knowledge in virtual Development (HIL / SIL) Excellent knowledge and effective use of MS Office Tools
Fluency in the English language (written and verbal)
Basic experience with vehicle bus system, CAN communication and tools (e.g. CANalyzer)
Must be able to travel year round (may require travel up to 3 months to the U.S. during winter time) eligibility to travel to the USA is a must for development and training and having a valid passport and US Visa is a plus valid drivers license.

Nice to have

Degree in Engineering discipline with focus on automotive engineering
More than 2 years of experience working in the automotive industry
Experience within development of vehicle dynamics, chassis or brakes
Experience in vehicle mechanics, electrics and electronics
experience within development of electronic brake systems advanced vehicle driving and judgment skills (vehicle dynamics area) experience in FSAE, motorsport or similar activities.
